Retro-style lanterns on the apple trees
When I was a child, my parents used to host a garden party each summer. I loved everything about it: The lanterns in the trees, the candles and the flowers on the tables and especially the 80s-style cocktail glasses rimmed with sugar. For whatever reason (probably because of the unpredictable weather in Germany) my parents quit this tradition, but this year I decided to bring it back (and to organise a tent, just in case). Luckily, we didn’t need a tent, the day was really hot and we just had a great time. And the cocktail glasses rimmed with sugar!
Party food – couscous salad, tomatoes with mango and salsa, shrimp and rice salad
